KSPTL Pre-Entrance Programme


Please be advised that since March 2020, as a direct result of COVID restrictions placed on educational institutions by the Ministry of Education, Kenson School of Production Technology Limited has been operating using Emergency Remote Teaching, Learning and Assessment methodologies.

This means that teaching and learning have been scheduled and carried out via electronic platforms, as in-house or the traditional face-to face interactions for theoretical and practical activities have been suspended.

The KSPTL Pre-entrance programme is designed to facilitate those individuals who do not meet the prerequisites for the City & Guilds Level 3 International Vocational Qualification (IVQ) Advanced Diploma in Oil and Gas programmes.

The target audience therefore includes the following:

Persons with

no subjects.

Persons with less than 5


level subjects

Persons missing both

Mathematics and Science.

The Programme will be delivered as follows:

Math is a TWELVE (12) WEEK programme

Science is a TWELVE (12) WEEK programme

Each of the following Fundamentals Short Courses is ONE DAY in duration:

The candidate will acquire the basic principles of the overall network of components and devices used to monitor, control and action the flow of processes. These components assure the efficient running of major plant equipment as well as support for sub-processes to acquire the finished product of any industry (energy, petrochemical, chemical domestic).


  • All Nationals of Trinidad and Tobago and non-nationals are eligible to be accepted to this programme.
  • There are no prerequisites for this programme.
