Courses of Study: Process Operations
My name is Ambika Isaac and I attended Kenson School of Production Technology (KSPTL) in 2022/2023, where I completed the Diploma in Process Operations in Oil & Gas (PT60).
My experience at KSPTL was truly exceptional and consistently exceeded my expectations. Although all my classes were held virtually, the learning environment felt just as engaging and interactive as a physical classroom. I was always eager to join the classes, which were never boring. Even assignments and exams were enjoyable, as I fully grasped the content thanks to my lecturer, Mr. Steven Neale, who made every lesson interactive and created a comfortable environment for participation and questions.
The practical sessions, held physically on Kenson’s compound and conducted by Mr. Trevor Collette, were extraordinary. We had the opportunity for hands-on experience with the Simulator, which featured the equipment typically found in a processing plant.
As a student still in secondary school with no prior work experience, this Diploma was instrumental in helping me understand the environment of a plant and the processes carried out there. Mr. Collette’s thorough explanations ensured that we all comprehended the material being taught.
I will always be grateful for choosing KSPTL. From my first inquiry, Mrs. Avalon St. Louis-Clasp, one of the kindest staff members I encountered, assisted me with every aspect of registration and ensured that I was comfortable throughout my time there. I later found that all of KSPTL’s staff were equally supportive, helping students feel at ease in their learning environment. Everything I learned at KSPTL will undoubtedly aid me as I transition from school to the professional world. The knowledge and hands-on experience gained will be invaluable in my career.
Overall, I deeply appreciate my time at KSPTL and the quality education I received. The interactive classes, practical sessions, knowledgeable lecturers, and supportive staff all contributed to an exceptional experience. I highly recommend this school to anyone seeking a seamless transition from school to work in the oil and gas industry, or simply to gain more knowledge in their field.
