Course of Study: Level 3 Production IVQ Advanced Diploma in Oil and Gas Operations

My name is Kathy Trotman and I attended the Kenson School of Production Technology during the period of 2012-2013. During my tenure of enrollment, I pursued the Level 3 Production IVQ Advanced Diploma in Oil and Gas Operations.

I gained copious amounts of knowledge and experience while attending the Kenson school for which I am forever appreciative. Both classroom and simulator experiences were exceptional. In addition to the calm and motivating environment my sessions were well structured, Lecturers went above and beyond, never showing apathy in facilitating our every need and making sure we understood every aspect of the sessions presented. Staff members were always polite and professional when dealing with students.

Being a former student of the school, I also had the opportunity to become a board member on the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Committee. This committee allowed me to widen my network with students as far as Uganda.

I am now gainfully employed by the Kenson Group of companies at the BPTT Oil and Gas processing facility and I must say my skill set and knowledge gained made my transition from tertiary to the industry less complicated. I would always have an appreciation for Kenson and would highly recommend it for future endeavors.
