Courses of Study: Process Technician Diploma, Offshore Production Operator Training Programme

My name is Sachin Maharaj and I am a present student at Kenson School Of Production. I was enrolled in 2022 into the ‘Diploma In Oil And Gas – Process Technician’ CORHORT PT58 and I am also presently enrolled in the ‘Offshore Production Operator Training’ COHORT 13/14.

In the two years I have been a student at Kenson School Of Production, the institution has been nothing but impressive. My classes were fully online so I could have been in the comfort of my own home/work while still in class. At the end of the course, there is a practical that helps you to get an understanding and feel of what it’s like to be on a plant with the assistance of the KSPT simulator.

In the timeframe I have been at KSPTL, I have had the honour of being taught by Mrs. Mohammed and Mr. Collete. They’re very well experienced in the industry and able to answer almost any question with confidence. They have been really understanding and generous when it comes to questions and answering them as they try to guide you toward a better response and give us an insight into the industry of what it’s like to work there.

The staff at KSPT that I interacted with have been wonderful, they’re willing to assist with anything and very kind with lots of patience. Quick email responses were prominent as well as the exact information requested.

Although I have not gotten a job yet due to not starting to look, I have gained a huge amount of knowledge that would be useful in the field. Everything you would need to know to work as a Production Technician in the industry was taught in the Level 5 course from the use of equipment to safety which was mainly focused on by our lecturers. The simulator was well-equipped with equipment and accurate to the theory we had learned.

With that being said, I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in going into the Oil And Gas industry. Amazing lecturers and staff, online learning for convenience and the knowledge needed to work in the Oil And Gas industry.
