We believe that the pursuit of quality in education is what empowers our students to achieve their full potential and become future leaders in their respective fields.
Embracing Innovation using Artificial Intelligence
With the release of ChatGPT in 2022, researchers have started exploring its features and implications for teaching and learning in higher education. ChatGPT is dubbed a Large Language Model (LLM), which is a type of artificial intelligence system that is designed to understand and generate human language text at a very advanced level. These models are typically based on deep learning techniques and have been trained on vast amounts of text data from the internet, books, articles, and other sources.
This new and FREE tool has caused quite a stir for educators, with one of the major fears being the atrophy of academic integrity as students are seen as using the tool to ‘cheat’ in school examinations. While there are several ethical considerations for the use of AI that must be carefully addressed, management at Kenson School is embracing this innovation and firmly believes that the use of AI in management and administration will serve to reduce some administrative tasks such as analyzing student records, optimizing resource allocation including scheduling of classrooms and managing instructor assignments.
Kenson School is new to AI technology, but having received recent insight into its incredible features we look forward to challenging ourselves to contribute more meaningfully through the use of LLMs by fostering a learning environment that is adaptive, efficient, and focused on quality learning outcomes which will give the School the cutting edge to thrive in a competitive environment.
